Huile essentielle de Citronnelle Bio – 10 ML 

La citronnelle est utile en application externe comme insectifuge. 

Diluer quelques gouttes d’huile essentielle de Citronnelle bio avec une huile végétale (bio de préférence) sur les poignets et les pieds. 

Elle peut être utilisée en synergie avec d’autres insectifuges tels que l’huile essentielle de lavande et géranium Bourbon.

Particularité de la plante : Originaire d’Indonésie, la citronnelle est une grande herbe vivace. Elle possède de longues feuilles étroites, des tiges et des inflorescences linéaires. Les Indiens et les Thaïlandais s’en servent pour aromatiser leurs plats traditionnels. Elle est couramment utilisée dans les mélanges à diffuser pour rafraîchir et assainir les lieux d’habitation. Bien connue pour son action anti-moustique.

Arôme : citronné, assez puissant.

Principaux composants :
– Citronellal (28,00 à 45,00%)
– Géraniol (17,00 à 25,00%)
– Citronellol (10,00 à 15,00%)

Allergènes : Limonène, Linalol, Farnesol, Eugénol, Citral.

Précaution d’emploi : 

Irritation possible en onction pure sur une peau fragile. 

L’huile essentielle est contre-indiquée chez les femmes enceintes et les enfants de moins de six ans.

En cuisine : Elle s’utilise beaucoup dans la cuisine thaïlandaise. Elle parfume agréablement les soupes, un curry, une salade de tomates, de riz… Compte tenu de son arôme puissant, cette huile essentielle se doit d’être utilisée avec modération, une goutte suffit.

Usage alimentaire selon les concentrations indiquées

L’huile essentielle est contre-indiquée chez les femmes enceintes et les enfants de moins de six ans.
