Huile essentielle de Citron Bio – 10 ML 

L’huile essentielle de Citron Bio peut soulager efficacement une petite insuffisance hépatique ainsi que des lourdeurs digestives, car c’est un tonique digestif et hépathique. 

Elle est utile en cas de nausées, et contre le mal des transports. Elle peut dissoudre des calculs biliaires.

L’huile essentielle de citron est utile également en application locale pour résorber la cellulite. Attention cependant à bien la diluer dans une huile végétale (de préférence bio) et ne pas exposer la peau imbibée à la lumière.

Particularité de la plante : Le citronnier est originaire du nord de l’Inde, puis a été introduit en Afrique du Nord. Le citronnier est un petit arbre qui peut atteindre 5 m de haut. D’un vert foncé, les feuilles sont persistantes, vernissées.
Les fleurs blanches odorantes donnent un fruit robuste.
La pulpe du fruit est très riche en nutriments (vitamines B, C, P) et sert à préparer l’acide citrique. Le jus de citron est antiseptique, bactéricide. Il faut environ 3 000 citrons pour obtenir 1 kg d’essence par expression de la partie externe de l’écorce du fruit… On voit l’importance d’utiliser des citrons de culture Bio. La meilleure essence de citron Bio est celle de Sicile.

Arôme : Frais, bien fleuri, avec une touche d’acidité agréable, très proche de ce que l’on obtient à l’épluchage du zeste.

Principaux composants :
– Limonène (62,00 à 70,00%)
– Gamma terpinène (7,00 à 12,00%)
– Béta pinène (8,00 à 16,00%)

Allergènes : Limonène, Linalol, Citral, Géraniol.

Précaution d’emploi : 

Attention, l’huile essentielle de citron bio est très photosensibilisante. Ne pas appliquer sur la peau avant une exposition au soleil.

La présence de « furocoumarines » peut engendrer des micro-brûlures. De plus, à l’état pur, elle peut irriter légèrement la peau. 

En cuisine : L’huile essentielle de citron est particulièrement utilisée pour parfumer les desserts, crèmes, flans, pâtisseries : 1 à 2 gouttes suffisent. Il est aussi possible de préparer de très bonnes boissons chaudes ou froides : mélanger dans 1 cuillerée de miel, 1 goutte d’huile essentielle de citron + une goutte d’huile essentielle de gingembre ou d’orange, rajouter de l’eau chaude ou froide suivant l’envie du moment.

L’huile essentielle est contre-indiquée chez les femmes enceintes et les enfants de moins de six ans.
